Inspired by his grandmother's cooking,Fernando Trocca began his culinary journey alongside Argentina's top chefs. He steered the helm at his first successful restaurant, Llers, then at the popular Vandam in New York. He then returned to Argentina to establish Sucre in 2001, a prestigious venue recognized in the 50 Best Latin American Restaurants list. Trocca went on to create the seasonal restaurant Mostrador Santa Teresita, before launching Orilla in the Urbanica Liberatador hotel in 2018. Today, Trocca's gastronomic footprint includes locations in Buenos Aires, Miami, London, Dubai, and Montauk, NY.
Juan Pablo Michelini is the oenologist, the soul and guide of theAltar Uco project. He is the creator and maker of all the wines, and imprints his unique subjectivity and personal seal on them. He is architect of each bottle. Altar Uco wines are his interpretation of the terroir, his own particular vision of the area: the upper Uco Valley, with a focus on Gualtallary.
